“Measuring transfer of learning to the workplace is easy!” said no one ever. Let’s be honest. Tracking the impact of learning is a tough ask. L&D professionals are using data measurement to get a handle on it. But do current methods help achieve real learning transfer? Do they offer people more than just a decent learning experience? Usually not! And that’s the problem, isn’t it?
Businesses are investing time and money in training. But while they’re gaining a lot of theory, they’re seeing very little change and minimal impact. Everyone in L&D knows behavioural change and putting newfound skills into practice is the name of the game. But no one’s using data measurement to its full potential to help achieve that.
So at Stellar Labs, we set up a research project with the University of Antwerp (UA) to add some new ideas to the mix. We’re sharing some results with you in our white paper – The Learning Data Cookbook: Proven recipes for measuring the impact of learning.
And it’s a brilliantly bite-sized read. Structured around three questions, we ask: Why are we measuring? How are we measuring? What are we measuring?
With a spoonful of goal-setting, a dash of data capture, and a generous pinch of objectives, our white paper shows how learning data can make a visible impact on your business.
Since ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’ – or in this case ‘the reading’ – we invite you to dig in to The Learning DataCookbook. Together with our friends at UA, we have made considerable progress on the question of how to measure the impact of learning. We’re building these insights into all our solutions at Stellar Labs. And we look forward to welcoming you to our table to share our blend of consulting and training, as well as our AI-enabled upskilling platform. Bon appétit!
