Marije Lesterhuis, PhD, is a postdoc researcher at Edubron, the University of Antwerp. Her main research interests are training effectiveness, assessment and feedback. She prefers to work on projects in close collaboration with the work-field in order to enhance the impact of research. Besides doing research, Marije teaches courses in the program 'education and training sciences' (OOW) at the University of Antwerp and supervises master theses and projects. After completing her PhD, she co-founded Comproved, a spin-off of the University of Antwerp, Ghent University and Imec. Comproved aims to enhance the quality of assessments and learning from assessments by offering expertise and a tool based on the principles of comparative judgement (www.comproved.com).
